If we only had one word to describe the new WINTERBLADE MIRAGE folder, it'd be "smooooth”...

The MIRAGE is the first production knife ever to feature magnet-assisted blade deployment - but a light / subtle assist so that the blade is still easy to swing closed with one hand while releasing the lock.

The MIRAGE locks up solid via our “M-LOCK” - the same battle-tested magnet-driven lock used on our flagship “FACTOR” folding knife…

…In the case of the MIRAGE, the M-LOCK doubles as a super smooth, medium strength “detent” to keep the blade safely and securely closed when in the pocket.

Although you might not think so by looking at it, the MIRAGE is an extremely beefy knife… Its full spine polished steel backspacer doubles as the blade stop, and is mounted and reinforced with 3 (!) shouldered stop pins! This is coupled with an oversized 1/4" diameter pivot barrel, and large 1/2" diameter thrust bearings... So needless to say, the MIRAGE will easily handle whatever amount of cutting force you put into it, and in fact, far more than ever needed!
